Hi,

A very newbie to this forum wanted to know that is there a way if i can configure my satellite to receive SKY behind bay windows. I have a direct line of sight from inside my window but strangely i don't have permission to put up a satellite dish outside.

Suggestions will be a lot useful.

Thanks a lot in advace.

Regards

It will work through most windows, but normally a slightly bigger dish is recommended. Is each side of the bay a single pane or lots of little panes (like an original window in an old house would probably be), also is it double glazed?

As it is inside the dish doesn’t need to be fixed that securely (no wind to move it etc).

Yea it is a bit intrusive to the room, a clear one would let more daylight in, but the cables and mounts and so on still take up space, but if you really want sat tv...and it looks fun :D
