Just a quick question for RolfW should you see this in your travels

Are you happy with your current web host ? as I am thinking of using them

Yes, they are very good, also one of the best value around for medium to high usage sites. What I like about them is they are proactive with regard to server performance and go the extra mile to make things run smoothly.

Having said all that, the server was down for about half an hour tonight due to what was thought to be a DOS attack, just waiting to hear what happened.

Just been on the forum again and seen the usage graph, the server was down for so long because they were blocking all of the errant IPs.

Spot the DOs attack.

The web hosts forum sang their praises but I wondered how a large web site would fair.

I haven't noticed any problems with this site and will definately give them a try
