Advice Needed Saved feed now showing as something else

I have set up a dish for a friend at 10E who has been officially provided with details for a feed, which is due to take place tonight and on Sunday. I tuned in the feed and BISS key on Wednesday when a test transmission took place and all was working. He called last night to say that the feed had disappeared and having just popped over, it has done exactly that. More so, the feed name has completely changed to something else - and only the sound is now working. I can't say I've ever had this happen before but he is using a VU+ Duo receiver, is it possible it's simply got mixed up with an existing feed or maybe something else is broadcasting on the same TP which ignited the change?

I'm working this evening so unable to retune when the actual transmission he wants to view takes place. Is it likely that it will overwrite the incorrect one when the feed goes active?

No guarantee with feeds. They can use whatever frequency is convenient. And just like any other transponder, there can be multiple transmissions/feeds on a single transponder. Receiving a blank screen with sound only is common, as often only the video is encoded.

Best advice for your friend is to rescan later today and check if the wanted feed is back.
