Season/Wallbanger - Help?

I hope there are some experts frequenting this site that can advise me please. Using Force 1122 + Freecam 2.018k
I just built a season interface from a kit (Int'g Devices) it is pretty simple so I'm fairly sure is built correctly.
Tried both 486 + W95 and P233+W98 and get similar messages that Wallbanger 3.9.9 cannot see the Season.
However, in Irdeto mode the I/F LED flashes and the green light on RHS of WB window flashes, also the is some data in the log window (reset answer or similar) and a long hex string.
But no decoding.
Is it possible to test the I/F using Did multimeter? Is there any other emulater I could try?
Is there a guide to using WB .

Any advice would be appreciated.

I'm no expert on season but I did recently experiment with a season (commercially built - old style) and managed to get it working after 2 long days of fiddling about.

If it helps I have Nokia9600+FC2-018+486w95 - similar to you except for the receiver.

They have a forum 100% dedicated to wallbanger, but they also have a "Database" section where they list the recommended settings for a range of receivers. That's where I finally solved my problems

This is what they say about Force D-master Original CAM for irdeto (don't know if similar to your r/c) - there are more settings if you look.

Season Type Baud Rate,D,P,S RTS Enabled? Shake It!?
Unpowered 11520, 8, None, 1 No No

Thanks BB for that link, I've registered, but cannot find the wallbanger group/database, could you point me in the right direction - please.

Also, as there is no Nagra screen how do you get that - I'm running ahead a bit can't decode anything yet!

The_Meeting_Place_2001 is the wallbanger board - maybe you have joined Yahoo but not yet joined the The_Meeting_Place_2001. On the Yahoo home page look for the Join a Group search box.

Once you get into the Meeting_Place the Database is in the left hand side control panel.

There isn't a Nagra screen but you should see a Nagra indicator in the top right section. When you use a Freecam it all happens in the irdeto screen, you don't use the other two tabs. Suggest that you concentrate on getting irdeto working first. Also, you need to get an updated key file - suggest satkoos if you can find it.

Again thanks, starting to make (a little) sense now. Waiting for my approval for The Meeting Place now.
How does the WB key file import work, I tried selecting the file but the entries in WB do not update. Do you need to do it all manually?

Now I am begining to remember why it took me two days to sort it out.

I've never used the WB key file import. All I do is get the latest WB key file zip from satkoos and dump the .key files into the WB folder on my PC. There are four key files for I,S(or M),N & V. Check out the satkoos down site now and get KeysWallBanger18102002.zip

Maybe this is the lazy way to do it but it works for me.
