Seca Builtin CAM Problems

I have a friend who has a Reciever supplied with his service to Canal France.

I wanted to see if I could build a Goldcard that could be used to decode Canal . I gave him a card that works with my system.

An Echostar AD3000IP with a Seca Aston CAM 1.03.

On his system it works for 10s and then cuts off.:-(

This card uses the Beamer Seca Goldcard hex file.

Anyone know what could be the problem ?

Do I need to remove all Providers apart from Canal France from the EE hex file ??

Thanks,

Possibly, I ve certainly heard that the boxes reject any out of zone decryption. There were some files floating around specifically for those boxes, but i haven't seen one for a while.

When looking for files like this the best place to look is a french site.
http://secarum.fr.fm/ has several hex files in the menu "Fichier Hex" - "Seca" under the heading "Démodulateur Officiel" is a file that can be used with an official C+ box.
As C+ keep sending differnt attacks against unofficial cards this file is called "Anti_attaque_05 04_02" Not sure if it's the latest but it's worth a try.

Great one Nobbly, are these similar to the Goldbox files?
