Selecting correct satellite finder

hai,

I plan to purchase a satellite finder kit. the specification stated that the input frequency is 950-2050 MHz and suitable for ku as well as c band. ku band range is lot higher than 2.05 GHz, so why are they claiming the unit is suitable for ku band tuning ?

hope somebody can clarify. thanks

South central
The LNB will do the conversion for you.
from Ku or C downwards so the finder will work fine. :)

The 950-2050 MHz is the local oscillator frequency after it has been converted from the ku band. The downconverted signal is the one your meter will be checking.
