No, from Gunter's: "SES-17 will cover North America, South America, Central America, the Caribbean and the Atlantic ocean."
For such coverage, location will be much more to the West, say 50°W or so.

Yeah, even more to the West I'd say looking at that graphic.
67°W comes to mind, that is above the southern tip of Venezuela.
The recently launched Ku-band satellite SES-10 is suspiciously stotted at 66.9°W, as if already waiting for the next one at 67.1°W. :D

The launch of SES-17 and Syracuse-4A was successfull.
The ID's are not yet assigned to both satellites, but they will be:
49332 2021-095A
49333 2021-095B
Both have full-electric propulsion, so it will take many months to reach GEO.

A bit late to reply to this, but looking through the SatStar website for satellite footprints for SES-17, with its large selection of Ka-Band footprints there appears to be one "dedicated" for most the UK & Ireland (SA66) & the northern reaches of France, while beam SA61 covers Scotland, NI & a NW portion of the Republic of Ireland. I'm not sure where SatStar have sourced their footprint maps from for this satellite (SES's own site doesn't list them or I haven't found it!) but they're normally reliable. Looks like in the western European skies this is now the satellite farthest west in the arc (67.1W) that has a beam intended for "domestic" reception in at least the UK & Ireland, displacing the Telstar 14R & 19 Vantage satellites at 63E with their North Atlantic beams (though they're Ku Band as opposed to SES-17's Ka-Band).

49332 SES-17 arrived near 67.2°W two weeks ago, now near 67.0°W and should be testing now.
49333 Syracuse 4A seems to have chosen near 45.5°E for testing, final location will be 47.0°E to join or replace Syracuse 3A.
