'Fortec Star Passion' (& a dead SL65) One of them big Woks on the outside, and a thingy that moves it about a bit.

I am located at 1W

I want to use THOR 1W for setting up my dish motor

The SL65 receiver does not have THOR 1W setup in its memory.

What settings do I have to input in the SL65 for adding THOR 1W to its list of satelites?

Thanks

Just modify the settings for one of the Asian birds you will never use.

Hi mick2me

Does your receiver have a satellite named as "Intelsat 10-02"?
If so that is the other bird to use at 1*west.

Is there anything worthwhile on Thor - without a legit sub?

Check this out my lordship :)
http://www.kingofsat.net/en and then click on Thor and it will show you everything on there, that's Thor 2 & 3 and Intelsat 10-02.

All depends what you call worthwhile, but I think it's a pretty dull sat.

Give it the :-Guill

When I read it correctly, the channels on Thor are of no interest to him, he just wants to use this sat to set up his motor, right?

Go to your settings menu, choose Add satellite, use a transponder with constant signal, f.i. 11247 V, 24500 7/8 (Telenor) and turn the mast with motor fixed at 0 degrees until signal is received and tighten mast. Search for channels if you want and save.

Goodluck.

I havent got a clue whats on THOR, but its due south of me, so best for motor setup.

Thanks for the replies I will peruse the info and hopefully it will help me with my problem.

Intelsat is not pre programmed? I take it this is a different sat at the same location? 1W?

Useful little tool. You will need Acrobat Reader though.

Wrong, that post was for the post in front of me from lordgarretty not the original one from mick2me.
