Hi. Can anyone tell me why my motor will not turn automatically. I have a Silvercrest SL65 box. I can use the motor manually via the buttons. But I cannot move it's position automatically by Diseqc or USALS. I have tried resets of box and motor. Any ideas?? At present I am using the dish with a temp coax of 20 metres. Could this be the problem???

When you say you can move the motor using the buttons, do you mean the buttons on the motor, or the buttons in the motor menu on the receiver?

Sorry rolfw. I can use the button on the motor to move E & W. Using the remote/menu for the motor does not work.

Well I'm guessing that there is at least power getting to the motor, or you wouldn't be able to move it with the onboard buttons. You probably need to check the connectors as a start off, then try it with the LNB disconnected to see if it is drwing too much power.

Dont think that lengt of cable 20m is problem i have 30m cable and disceq in middle with same motor and it works. When you can move motor with buttons this mean that you have connection with receiver and enought power. what can be is soft problem you can dry restart both disconnect motor and start with clean receiver (master reset with manufacture soft) and chek over all cable and connections points.
