Hi all

I'm a complete newbie following the demise of the terrestial system, I have read loads of posts and this is the list I have so far can someone tell me if I have it right and what's missing.

Samsung 9500
Channel master 1.2 dish
polar mount
Mti twin LNB ( I intend to use two recievers )

As far as I can make out I need apositioner and a motor any recommendations.

You will need

A DiseqC to standard positioner converter box - Jaeger do a nice one

A worm drive linear actuator - depending on how much movement you can achieve either 12 or 18 inches

A wall or ground stand of 3" diameter, get a quality galvanised one, not a black painted cheapy

Decent bolts to hold it to the wall or ground

Cable - actuator screened pulse and CT100 or equivalent

F connectors

Waterproofing amalgamating tape

A TV

About four to six hours of peace and quiet

What are your neighbours like ?

A 1.2 is breaching planning regulations in most parts. Maybe add come paint to the list to tone down the impact of a white dish
