hi everyone, ineed some help on a dish installation.

im trying to find hipasat 30w, im pretty sure i have found it but the problem is my signal quality is falling and rising very quickly, its as if there is something in front of the signal could this be the cause, because there is a tree 9 metres from were my sattelite is located , the tree is about 9 metres tall. Or could it be that i have installed the dish very low, i have put it just above my kitchen window. could someone please help me on this problem

Could be the tree, could be the LNB skew, as you are looking at the dish from behind the LNB, the bottom of it should be at around 5 O'clock.

The elevation for that satellite is around 1 in 2, so to clear a 9m object, you need to be close to 18 metres away.

~Download the Swedish Microwave Calculator and it gives you these figures exactly. :)
