Just wondering if changing my receiver brand can improve the signal quality like by 3% or more
I googled alot and never really find any clear answer

What receiver do you have and what satellites/channels are you trying to improve?

Dr HD F15/16 are highly regarded to be as one of the most sensitive receivers around. Have a search on this forum.

A Black Ultra LNB is also known to give decent improvements over others.

Yep, I can confirm the F15 and the Black Ultra LNB are good at getting a little extra signal when you can't upgrade the dish. Just be careful as the F15 doesn't like the Black Ultra on a very short cable run (I've had problems with it on a 4m cable - putting it through a multiswitch and looping through another receiver increased the signal).
