I've seen SCT advertise that it's using simulcrypt (Irdeto & Viaaccess)

Does this mean it requires both cams and two cards to view?

If this is not the case, then why doesnt the standard Via hack work for viewing SCT?

I've seen a file posted today for via saying it includes SCT on file, but it does not decrypt it either..

Thanks.

No, the whole point about simulcrypt is that the viewer can use a card/CAM for any one of the systems being simultaneously transmitted. IE it is designed to enable greater compatibility with a wider range of equipment.

SCT is available either under Irdeto ACS v2 (the new system, not yet hacked) or under Viaccess. But their Viaccess keys change regularly and you need to keep up...
