Hi all, i was wondering if anybody could give me some information on Sirus 5E. I have managed to tune my Humax 5300 ( 80 cm dish ) into sirus 2, can recieve all that i should. The problem lies with channels on Sirus 3, which acording to the data i have is in the same position. When i try to tune to say Ticket 1, i can get >60 % signal level but no signal quality.

I am new to all of this and would appreciate any help, and appologise in advance for seeming stupid.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-Jun-02 AT 06:01 PM (GMT)]You will find that the Ticket channels are on the Nordic Beam Iceeman, if you follow the 2nd link, it will show you the footprint and the dish size required. The Lyngsat site along with Satcodx.com is one of the best satellite information sites around.

Below is a jpeg picture showing the beam, it would appear that in the UK you will require a very minimum of 1.2metre dish.
