Was hoping someone who watches on a regular basis could advise me how it could be done. These are the raw feeds sent directly from the racecourses to the studios.

I think that you'll find the equipment is too expensive and the key codes are hard to get hold of, hence why very few, apart from the really in the know people can do it. I'm sure that is covered in at least one of those threads.

Thanks for that. I thought that sports feeds were not scrambled. These feeds should be clear and then scrambled by the broadcaster. Anyone know?

Some sports feeds are scrambled, some are broadcast in modes which can only be received by specialist equipment. Racing feeds for obvious reasons are not broadcast in an easily readable format.

The wobbly sat at 20W. You need inclined orbit tracking to watch it all day.

As the individual satellites are not identified, impossible to tell for certain..

I think those feeds are from lyngsat I want the SIS feeds too video and the raw data but from what I here they are broadcast in 4:2:2 format which normal digi boxes don't do however from another forum I here that Sky star card with 2progdvb" will decode this format!!!! although I cannot confirm!!!!
also they are on the Intelsat 20 deg west again I can't confirm

If any one has any further info to add then please contact me as i think getting these feeds would be a big **** u to the bookies who own SIS

Also I'm told they are not techmnically encrypted as the format they broadcast in really makes picking up the feeds too expensicve to a local joe
alternatively pay £7000 and get a domestic SIS subbs you have to sign up for 3 years but if your betting in-running or set betting on the exchanges or even prospective arbing you shouls piss that in proffit in a month or 2

Just remember that the minute a fair few average Joes start getting too successful with the betting because of freely available SIS feeds, they will go properly encrypted.

Any serious punter should probably invest in the proper SIS kit.
