A lot of movies are broadcast in DD on the movie and box office channels.

Thx for the info

Hi Guys

With reference to your question on DD, I thought I would add some additional relevancy. I also found it strange that my Sony receivers optical output was never decoded as DD, only pro logic even when the films were advertising the format. I called sky support to see if I could force a firmware update on my box to decode DD. They told me that it was only available on Sky+ boxes and they had no plans to provide the update to existing subscribers. I replied by cancelling my movie package and informing them that they were blood sucking parasitic w*nkers. Needless to say I still don't have DD but I'm not buying a PACE box either. If ever a class-action were needed....

Cheers
