A friend of mine is looking to install a Sky Digi System on his boat where he spends most weekends, he will fix the disk to a land based portable frame or a fixed part of the mooring.

Will he be able to take his card from home and use it in the second digibox or will sky demand he pays another subscription.

(I should probably be asking sky this question but what the hell, you guys seeem to know more about sky that the muppets in the call centre).

Cheers.

he'll either have to take his digibox from home with him or get another sub. each card gets paired up with one digibox.

The pairing is not checked for all channels though. For example: BBC channels do check, but Ch4 & 5 do not. Some Sky premium channels do check, but Sky One and others do not. UKGold, Bravo, do not. I don't have a complete list, but he should experiment (or does someone els here have a complete list?)
