My Satellite Setup
SKYDIGITAL

Hi

I currently have Sky digital and live in the south of england near Basingstoke on M3 but I would like to upgrade to a dish that can still get Skydig and hotbird and may be any others that are in between.

Problem is that the dish is on the front of the building and it a ground floor flat. At the moment i have the standard Sky mini dish. I would like to Keep to a dish roughly the same size.

I have either the Triax TD60 with a 4 LNB option or the Force Toroidal 55cm Multibeam Satellite Antenna in mind, preferably the Triax as it would be cheaper.

Would these be ok to get SkyDigital and Hotbird and if so which would be better?

If not what would the ulternative be?

Thanks in advance

I wouldn't advise going down that road you will be very disappointed. Leave the sky system alone and use another setup i.e. dish lnb and receiver, the sky box is useless for the other satellites anyhow.

Yeah thats the Triax setup i am looking at with the 60cm dish if possible or the Force Toroidal 55cm which is meant to have equivelant to a 55cm dish for each LNB.FIXED

The 60cm is only just big enough for those three satellites, you would be better with the Raven Gemini 70cm, with an Eastern sats offset bracket for Astra 28.2, 19.2 and Hotbird.
