The only way you could really do this is by getting an "ordinary" TV card and plugging your sky box into it using RF out.

XTrend ET8000, Dr HD 15, PC/twinhan combination. 80cm dish. GBPVR with 2 DTTV cards +hauppauge Media MVP +Raspberry Pi running XBMC

A lot of TV cards have s-video and composite inputs so you can connect through scart socket. The Hauppauge pvr range have built in Mpeg encoder, so don't put high load on your PC. The PVR 150 has IR transmitter so can change channels on sky box and is compatible with the excellent GBPVR, but isn't cheap at around 70ukp at PCW

I have come to conclustion it is impossible to get it to work without the digibox.
Therefore I will plug it through a Tv card I have a couple of these around some where.
Pinnacle PCTV Rave and Winfast Pvr 2000 XP
Either one of these should work, have to wait for prices to drop on the PVR150,cheapest I could find was £65,price seemed to have increased for TV cards at the momment.

All in one deal for under 40 quid! (just over inc vat), look here h**p://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?rb=15127952861&action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=54838
I bought one, gets a poor write up on net, but for the money it's a bargain, decent software bundle included..... svhs, audio,av in... svhs out, DVi output with vga converter. Av breakout box slightly diff' to picture, but usb RF remote works well, value for money 10/10 :)
only downfall is, if putting to dvd it takes ages, but that's the norm.
