I got the chance of a Sky Box and Dish.
I already have a sat system but wondered if I could get more on this?
Or just to fiddle about with.

Is it worth having for viewing? Can I do owt wi it?
Or Will it be more use for cooking Bean Sprouts?

If worth having, how much should I offer the current owner who has no use for it?

Or you could of course use it for what it is very good at and view the free to air channels on 28.2 East, if you then get a Freesat card, you will have a nice little setup. :)

Yep

With an FTV card you can get ITV, C4 and Five as well.

Without the card it'll be the same though.

The SL65 doesn't have a card slot - so sorry, you can't get anything but Free-to-air.

As PaulR says...

Yes it should have 2 - you stick your sky subs card in one. The oither was for interactive transactions, and has never been used.

I've seen it used loads of times, mostly by small children though, to see how many coins they can hide from their mum. :)
