Ok i have Sky+ at the moment but am looking to change to freesat HD box. i have read lots of posts on this forum but just need to double check i have got things right before i start buying the new box.

I dont need to buy a Quad LNB to recive freesat HD?

I dont need to change the cable running from my dish to the box to recive HD picture? just a HDMI cable from the back of the new box to the TV?

My dish should be pointing at the right sattelite as it was installed 1 year ago?

If there is any other information i have missed please let me know.
Thank you in advance to anyone who answers my questions.

Yep, all you need to do is to connect it up, press a few buttons when prompted on screeen, and you are sorted.

Welcome to the forum,

Changing over to freesat HD would be a simple box swap. Take out the digibox and cable in the freesat receiver. Once fired up, you'll be propmted to enter your postcode and have access to the channel scan screen.

Edit: too slow.
