On our community system there are more requests for Sky Q and on the most recent the Sky installer checked the feeds and said that the dish needed alignment.
He also said
"Our DCSS switch needs power levels of between 65dB and 85dB and a MER of above 10 on all transponders, if they do not compile with these levels then our switch will fail causing no satellite signal on all channels." Can this be true?
Looking at the logs attached only the VL LNB is giving any problems so I wonder if that this is faulty rather than just alignment?
Also what is the dish size recommended these days? The system has been in for 15 years.
Any advice/comments would be much appreciated.
