I would like to install Sky freeview in my home in Donegal without paying any kind of subscription, what would I need to achieve this? I was looking on ebay for a used box and dish, would this work?

Yes, if you can get one with an activated card, should be fine. Alternatively, if you know someone on the UK mainland, they can order a freesat card for you and all you need to do is get hold of a digibox. :)

I actually live in Scotland but have a house in Donegal, the terestrial tv reception is not very good as the strong wind keeps moving the aerial.I see that some sellers on ebay are selling Sky freeview cards with a yellow house logo on them, are these ok to use? Is it just a case of me mounting a dish and running the cable to the receiver?
