I am getting the following fault on my Sky recently and was advised to check connections at back of box. I renewed one termination and problem was solved on relevant channel (skysports 1) but now the faults present on another channel (skysports 2). I spoke to Sky who as usual tried to send an engineer out at a high cost which i declined. Has anyone got any advice or ideas? The majority of channels work ok but a few have this input fault present. Below shows text on the screen when faulty-

Input 1 Signal strength - zero
Input 1 Signal quality-zero
Input 1 lock indicator- not locked
Input 1 Network ID/Transport stream- null

Welcome to the Forum.

How old is the box?

What make/model is it?

Has your dish been exposed to high winds, torrential rain etc. of late? (I can guess the answer to that!)

Box is about 6 months old. Yeh it sure has, and seemed to happen coincidentally when i replaced old box. The screen would flicker then lose signal. When i renewed the cable connection it sorted this fault but still still cant view certain channels as says Satellite signal unavail.

Appreciate your reply

How is signal input 2? I assume this is OK? Perhaps try switching the two LNB connections over at the back of the box and see if the problem changes to input 2.

That would indicate a problem with the box.

Hmm. If I read Post 3 correctly, along with the other info, I wonder if Sky have fobbed you off with one of their notorious "refurbished" boxes; aka duff ones removed from other clients and simply re-issued.
