Sky & newcamd

Hey peps

im currently wathcing sky uk over newcamd with a friend and it was working perfectly until last night,

sky movies dont work anymore, but if i put the card back in the original reciver its working like a charm, and when i put it back into the db
it dont work in sky movies but working ok on the other channles

help plz

Still working OK for me. Sounds like you do not have the BOXID correctly in cardserv.cfg file. If this is not in correctly then you still get family pack channels like S*y 1 but not premium channels like movies or sports.

the guy with the card changed the card from lower to upper slot, and the boxid only stod at the lower slot

LOL, mine's OK, I just have an FTV card.

Very interesting to hear that family pack still OK with trashed or missing BOXID... what the hell is THAT all about?!?!? Fascinating what you can deduce from basic fiddling like this.

hi, im new to this forum... ive just got newcamd.conf file.. with gemini.. all sky sports channels are working, plus channel4,ary,b4u,zee tv,zee cinema,star are working.. all of em are in bskyb.. but why isnt sky movies working? and there are more in bskyb that doesnt work.. plz help me out thnx

Unless you card share you have to have a valid Sk* card for Premium channels.

well actually i bought dreambox from a guy and he told me i can get those chans .. so he sent me newcamd.. and i put that in tuxbox/config... thats it..
i dont have any card,i only got that file.. with mgcamd

NDS sharing with newcamd ? forget it. It would take more than "just a file" in tuxbox/config !
