sky on dreambox?

got new dm100 ,added new firmware, cccam etc,
but it still will not see the sky card or even work at All,
Ive read posts that say cccam will read the sky card, mine will not , What am i doing wrong?
Any ideas please ?

The DM100 is not a Linux box. Perhaps this is the reason.
Try to replace it with a Linux box like DM600pvr or DM7020si.

what cccam version have you loaded? ive read 2011 & 2010 have problems with some nds cards not on dm100 but may be same, try 209 works 100% on dm500 s

I'm not familiar with the DM100, but 3 things spring to mind :
- make sure your SKY card has been activated
- insert the sky card with the chip facing downwards
- install CCcam as default emulator, DO NOT select any cardreader (as this is already integrated with CCcam)

A subscription card authorised for Sky Sports of course. There are no freebies with Sky UK - you pay for a service or you do without.
