Sky One taking 10% for a 1 hour program!?

My Sky plus box (V1) is now using 10% disk space everytime I record an hour prog on Sky one. All other channels are still taking about 5 to 6% per hour, like it has always done.

Anyone else experenced this / found a solution?

It has been reported, on other forums, that some Sky One programmes are now transmitted with a higher bitrate (more data) than before and this is causing the increase in usage. I don't know how accurate this is though :rolleyes:

Could this be why they brought out the 160 box me thinks?

I haven't seen it my self, but I don't record much from Shy One as I tend to watch it live.....

My Sky plus failed, went for repair and when it came back had an almost similar problem. However we just kept recording and it seems to have sorted itself out. cant give any explanation other than what happened..
