Thanks guys, big wake up call. I'm obviously being mugged off by them so will give them a call tonight.

Best way to approach? Is it worth just going straight in with "I want to cancel"?
Tell them you want a better deal or you will cancel, always works for me..

Best approach is to phone for sure and be in the position your without any existing contract term, i.e. your just month to month now that you have served out your contract period. Tell the chap or chapess that you wish to cancel the whole shebang and if/when they ask why tell them your hours are being cut at work and seeing that T.V. is a non essential that it made sense to cut that out first before things got any harder for you. That's always been my kind of approach, its also been true at various points in my life so its easy to act that role.
