Is it possible to recieve the output from my sky box on my pc tv card
the card is a terratic cinergy 2400iDT I can see all the digital channels from my digtal arial but not the sky channel
both digital arial and sky are sent to a six way splitter in my attic and then to the tv points in each room all the tv's get both sets of signals my tv card is the only one not getting the sky output signal

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

Sounds as though it's a digital-only freeview card, what you need is an analogue, or Digital+analogue card (expensive), to be able to watch the output from your sky box... :)

Spot on and I don't think they do a combined card with dual tuners like this one.

Probably because the set-up isn't working the way he wants it to I suppose.

It would appear that sky output is on an analogue RF channel 21 or RF 69 but the default channels is RF 68 I still need a dual tv card that is both analogue and digital and has dual receivers so that I can record a channel and watch one at the same time so if any one knows of a good quality PCI TVcard that does all these things
Please let me know
and the angry face was just getting fed up trying to do something that should be quite simple I wish these manufacturers would get there act together

Insufficient demand for such a hybrid beastie.

Much easier & cheaper just to fit 2 cards.

The Hauppauge HVR1300 is analogue and digital but don't think it can do both at once. It also has s-video and composite in so you wouldn't need to bother about RF.
