You cannot obtain Sky without a valid subscription.

If you want it , you pay for it.

However with a motorised dish there are many other satellites and channels to choose from.

Robbo:)

P.S I edited your post, Please never mention that here.

Almost none. Sky news?

You need a sky card even for the "free" channels.

I prefer not to use the Sky word in that context.:-rofl2

The Sky channels come from the satellites at 28E, but also on there are quite a few free to air channels, that a sky Digibox as well as any other receiver will pick up.

If you go to this site _www.flysat.com you will find a list of them.

You DO NOT need a card for the FREE to Air channels.

As has been said, for Sky you have to pay. But you can choose who to pay with a dreambox. Keep reading, some things cant be discussed in open forum and you just got to find out for yourself.

Sorry if I have done something I shouldn't have in my last post Robbo. I did try to word it so that he knew what I meant without telling him exactly what he needed to do. Delete it if required. Sorry again. Dont wannna be getting myself banned, the knowledge you guys have on here has helped me get up and running by myself in quite a short time.

Discussion of the general principles of c/s is fine. You can discuss the emulators if you so wish, although many members observe the voluntary ban on discussion of the workings of gbox and wont join in any threads where its mentioned.

Asking to join card shares, and offering them is absolutely forbidden here, this includes D:Lines for Gbox and similar lines for the other emulators.

Stick to these general principles and you will be fine. If in any doubt contact one of the blue or red members (mods and admins) and ask for clarification or advice before posting.

We pride ouselves for being a friendly forum, and no-one is going to mind if you ask for advice on whats acceptable occasionally
