Sorry, not familiar with the Skysat, or do you mean the Skystar PC card? If you do, then there is no comparison, as they are hugely different prices and the Dreambox is a standalone receiver with much more capability.

get a settop box if u can afford one, sadly the pc cards are not up to much, the software is really bad,
im not at all happy with mine, ss2, not the card, just the clunky non user freindly software, no OSD or anything, very sloppy and unproffesional looking, its like the MIRC equivilent of DBV, ..dvbprog is prolly the best on reflection but thats not saying much. :<*
