Satellites sponsor DVBshop is a logical choice but they seem to be on holiday with delays on dispatch - anyone recommended a UK supplier?

Anyone confirm DiSEqC 1.2 (USALS/GOTO X) works with the SkyStar 2?

Hey Rolf, thanks as always for the top tip :D

I have done some digging, and it seems it works just fine but not listed on technisat site, lots of people using it with Switches, but a limited amount with Motors, but some German users report no problems. It also seems that none of the other manufacturers really support motor level currents although the protocols are in place etc so there is no real "official" option.

I will be putting this into my MythTV box _www.mythtv.org that I now have running with DVB-T cards to see if I can integrate the satellite stuff so it has to run well with Linux, which also limits my options in some cases - no S2 cards for me as support is still very weak.

By the way, nothing wrong with a v1 card, I read somewhere they are more sensitive than a v2... but also produce more heat so not so good for a PC in the lounge where you want it to be quiet ;)
