Skystart 2 Video format

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me what video format the Skystar 2 PVR writes it's files in when it's recording?

My Satellite Setup
Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

Berkshire
MyTheatre produces an MPG file, but I'm not sure which version it is, there is a post further down this section which I seem to remember discusses it.

I believe its MPG2 format. Pretty large files :(

need to be converted (downsized) to make them worthwhile, hardly loose any quality tho
