Hi all, just wondered if I would be able to run the cable from the sky dish to my freeview lidl box (SL65) and then take a cable from the LNB out to the sky box and use it as normal? we need freeview or a new aerial in the bedroom but this would be an alternative.
At present, I run it from the hotbird/astra dish to the SL65 and then take the LNB out to the PC, so I can seem to watch 2 different channels. Do you think this would work ok with sky or would I really need a twin LNB? would be a pain as the dishes are about 100m away.........

No as the polarity of the SL65 would dictate what polarity and hence channels you could watch on the sky box. The best way to do this would be to use a twin lnb and two cables one to each box giving complete independancy
