Does anyone know what the Network ID should be for 9°E?? It's not 6 like on Hotbird and does the "Use NIT" need to be on or off??

hello.
ok
set up the decoder on 12.341 v sr 27500 and net if 10.
ol must be 9.750/10.6 ghz
cross over 11.700
if you have it on 9.750 only then it will not go to the upper band where 12341 ghz is and it won't work

I seem to have a similar problem for the last month...My PowerVu AFN receiver had the blinking green light but now no longer "powers on" that is no green light. Constantly sounds like a siren when I try to power it on... I am no electrician and don't have tools to measure voltages. I am in the kaiserslautern area, Germany...is there anyone around who can help me with this? Also don't want to spend a lot of money as I am moving back to the states in the fall... thanks,

@ ralphpagno

Anyone knows any working universal remote control model for d9234 receiver ? I tried one from Meliconi and it does not find the code to make it work. As some settings recently changed, I can't save changes made without remote.

Grazie/Thanx in advance

Cheers

there is a ge one in the nex but you are in france so there will be no way there.
you may be able to but one on e-bay. the uneversal remote should have 3 buttons on it.
one says tv one says sat.
push the sat to start with code for sientific atlanta box remote code.
also take your remote apart and see if the led in the front is loose and solder it and it will probably work.
i have seen quartz loose and soldered it.i have seen led loos and soldered it as well and it dixed the problem.

Thank you for your quick reply. I've found the following codes for Scientific Atlanta : 0474 0458 0891 0491 0022 0238 0512 0498 0497 0506 0535 0466 0496

I'll give it a try and check for led soldering as well. Hope it will work because I need it absolutely as I need to save Eurobird frequency changes

Many thanx

hello to all,
if your remote is broke you can manualy load the info on the AFN box.
the D 9234 is the hardest box to do.
once you set the new information and exit to save the changes push the right and left arow on the select button at the same time.
this will tell the box "yes" and it will save the changes.
the easiest of the setup is the id and sy rate.
the hardest is the down link frequency it will take you over 30 min to move it to the correct frequency.
thats all i have for now.
