I've recently bought a HP scanjet G4050 scanner with USB 2.0 interface running under win 7.0. However, after scanning photos and images you can see scratches and wholes on them, no matter high quality scan or not. On 600 dpi scans and above the problem gets bigger on dark surfaces. Opening it in photoshop or other kinda program you can understand how bad it’s been scanned. Choosing slow scan (increasing the dept of the scan) does not help that much. Any ideas?
Thx in advanced.
