(There are also brackets to do that, but I don't know the skew angle you need?)

Here's one that I meant:
When adding spacers (or nuts) at one of them, you get your skew.

Hé! Is this my 500th post?
I'll take a beer! :)

Interesting. OTOH, that just seems to off-set the secondary pole/mast, but not to allow the angle thereof to be changed. So, can you illustrate how adding spaces/nuts can do that?

Well, if you use two of them, and place them a distance apart....
you can then use one of them without spacers, and the other with spacers.

Of course you put (as with my H-H motor suggestion) the side-mast at 90 degrees from the direction of the satellite.

For a large skew-difference I don't know if this solution would be fine. That's why I asked about the needed skew....

OK, I think (but still not sure it will the give angular change option) I get the idea - not that I suspect that I'm going to try that in the foreseeable future :D

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

If you have a diseqc motor lying around....I happen to be the happy owner of a STAB HH100 motor with a burnt-through chip ~ such a thing could easily be used for just this.
So find a broken STAB HH100, and you're happy!

Don't worry - I don't want the STAB motor back! - I won't be needing that, and there's enough "issues" for me around here without it:angry:

tilting a mast.jpg

Here's a picture.
Wenn you put spacers or nuts at place X, the masts are no longer parallel, but at an angle towards each other.
So the one mast gets skewed.

@a33

Thanks for the pic.

I'll see if I can find time to try "my" method later this week IF there is time and the weather is OK. Nothing is "certain" as we are going on holiday (the first for 2 years :D for various reasons :(), and hopefully "your's " after we get back in October, and see what seems to work, and what doesn't.

BTW: for "extreme" angles, I might also try using some steel tube spacers to add a bit more rigidity between the 2 masts.
