Does anyone own or tested the this Sony TV. It is not a widescreen TV but has a widescren switch button to squash pictures to 16.9. Can it display proper widescreen via Skydigital if so how?

Is it a dual display TV so it can cater for 4.3 and 16.9.

Many thanks in advance.

I would have thought that if you set the Digibox to use letterbox mode, but set the TV at 16:9 it may produce the goods.

I had 29" version of this TV. A lot of programs on SKY channels are still broadcast in 4:3 mode so set SKYbox to 16.9 mode, no difference will be seen until a widescreen program is broadcast. When it is everything will look tall and skinny. Press 16.9 button on TV remote.
Setting SKYbox to 4:3 and letterbox just cuts top and bottom of normal picture.
If you have not bought this TV yet consider a cheap 28" widescreen TV as WS picture on a 25" 4:3 is quite small (approx. 10-11" high).
Check www.audiovisiononline.co.uk for decent prices, that's where I got mine. +3 year warranty £30.
