Triax 100cm dish hooked up to a Dreambox 800HD SE

Hi all,

Total noob to all this, but I'm slowly finding my feet.

Bought a Dreambox 800HD SE clone from a friend, hooked it up to our old Sly dish, and managed to get all Sly channels with a wee subscription. I'm about to replace the Sly dish with a motorised Triax TD88. I'd love to split the output from the motor to 3 rooms, giving me the option of 3 places to use my box. Please note, I am not using 3 receivers, just 1, moved from room to room.

Now to my question, should I just use a bog standard F type splitter, or is there a better way?

Cheers,

BS...

If you're just going to use one receiver, then I think a standard F type splitter will do the job there.

Best, however, is to invest in a couple of smart priority switches, which will switch to last used input. Though a bit of an overkill now, you won't need to worry in case you decide to add another receiver to the mix.

Please do not talk about your illegal decryption of Sky UK channels. Its strictly forbidden on this forum in any way shape or form. And dont be surprised if your channels go black from either the supplier running off with your money after a few weeks, the supplier getting busted, or Sky tightening up their encryption further.

Apart from that welcome to the forum - we will help with technical problems you may have :)
