Why is only Sport1 available on satellite. Are the others ever going to be on Astra 1?

If they do go onto sat its far more likely they would launch onto 23E

Because 23E is the new Dutch "hotspot" which SES is pushing hard.

I don't know what's going on Astra? The only thing I know is that the sport channels are to be paid.
Especially for football. On Badr, Hotbird or Arabsat also we don't have any interesting sport channel respecting to what they have in their native (cable TV).
The quality and quantity is different.

Sports channels will always mainly be pay channels. Before they can show any sports coverage they have to negotiate the transmission rights, and these can be very expensive indeed for the big sports.

Yes, both eredevisie live1 and eredevisie live 2 are launched.

The first will be primary channel with major games.
The second will be used if there are two games at the same time.

Oh yes found them now, why is one on Astra 19E the others on 23E? Do most people in Holland have 2LNBs to get both of these.

Indeed, a so called DUO Lnb.
It's a monoblock for astra on 19degr. and astra on 23degr.
Some people uses a switch and two separate lnbs.

I've recently installed the arabsat on my same dish because you can do it. It has plenty of sport channels in it.
