Is there a way to make dreambox go to a particular channel on startup. It is not picking up where it left off and it seems to go to a different channel each time.
On a different but unfortunately related issue, parental controls placed on recorded movies are removed with a restart. This happens with both Hydra and DaVinci.

Whenever I've had this problem, it's been due to the box not saving it's configuration correctly on shutdown in particular. I think that the last channel is stored in /var/tuxbox/config/enigma/config along with most other enigma stuff.

It's difficult to understand the meaning.

I suspect it's at the bottom, in the lines :-

...which are taken from my box. I think mode 0 is TV mode, and mode 2 is for file mode. Try making a few copies and version-comparing them after a shutdown etc. and see what you can deduce.
