Ahh, cheers! I'll do a re-scan and see what occurs. I wondered if my setup was a bit off but I can receive quite a lot of channels from Amos at 4ºW, which I didn't think I would be able to.

Reason I say this, is, as we know, over 1 to 2 years many transponders disappear or change.

I don't mind compiling some readings of the more popular sats from both my motorised and multisat set up over the next couple of weeks. I was thinking of listing them as a spreadsheet, using Open Office and adding them to the post as an attachment rather than just a list which is difficult to format correctly. Would that be ok or would you rather just have a list?

Well, it does not matter much, although just a list is easier and faster to read, and not everyone has excell installed. But any update is welcomed

Ive managed to have a look at a couple of the east sats this afternoon.

So here in south Scotland using a battered old 80 cm dish the strongest tp's are:

Express AM22....53 east 11660H 2170 Arzu TV - once this is found Uzbekistan & the most of the Russian tp's on the Europe & wide Europe beams can be locked


YahSat 1A..........52.5 east 11981V 2530 National Geographic Farsi. Swapping to a generic HD box the DVB-S2 Saudi Sports mux is very strong as well.



If the weather stays fine I'll have a go for 57E in the morning, although that one may be behind the top of the hill opposite the cottage..

Cant find anything off 57E - must be just below the hilltop here. Ah well. never mind.

Ive gor the west beam stuff off 42E on 60cm zone 2 minidish now as well as 53E / 52.5E

Just need to cable them up to the house.
