Surgeons remove woman's 'unwanted' leg

A woman is considering having both her legs removed as she suffers from something called 'body identity integrity disorder' (BIID).

She has already had one cut off at a hospital after she performed a DIY deep-freeze operation on it to render it useless.

I've heard of many people who deliberately 'self harm', but this seems the most macabre

Not a lot really, I feel sorry for anyone who feels uncomfortable with their body but to go to such extremes seems a bit 'off the wall' but you know what they say it takes all sorts to make the world go round

Sad so sad this, it mystifies me how people commit suicide but self harm to this degree is totally incomprehensible
