Is anybody using TBS5520SE for Cable TV reception?
I downloaded latest Streamreader and CrazyScan2 but still no LU.
DVB-T and T2 was working fine.
But in DVB-C mode can not make LU to any transponder.
At same time DVBDream working fine?
My cable TV has these settings: 6875 Ks , I have to insert manually but it not helps.

Can someone monitor in what increments the dB signal is measured with this card? It's for certain comparisons!
Does it go of 0.1 steps, more or less?

Dears,
yesterday I received my new TBS 5520 SE.
The card seems ok, BUT I HAVE GREAT PROBLEMS TO MAKE IT WORK PROPERLY.
I have problems to make it recognize by softwares (Smartdvd, DVB viewer and progdvb) and after many attemps when I make it, it is enough to change satellite and sometimes even frequency to restart it again and struggle with software to make it recognize.
Then I did it only once to make work Diseq.
When the card decides to work, it is very good (tuner, t2-mi and multistrem).
I used even last drivers by the mighty Crazycat, but they are not working, a lot better with Florian's but I can't use diseq..... and I know it should work, once it did....
This is not the way to enjoy it...
So I will pass next days trying to find help ......
any idea?

I am using both usb plug (red and black)

From a technical point of view it is a very good card and I should have been happy with it, MIS, t2-mi, good reception, BUT in terms of reliability (maybe I am unlucky) very bad, you change between 2 programs and the card starts not working...
and then difficult diseq... and after 10 minutes.... too hot...
TBS could do a lot better... but the starting point is good, tuner is very good..

The last computer I had was very bad with the TBS 5925. I found out that the graphics card was too weak. My current computer has a GTX 1070 card which might be overkill, but your problem could be the PC and not the receiver.

I wouldn't dare. Some pci cards have additional power input for this purpose though....
I lie. I do use it to drive my motor but nothing more than sending DiSEqC commands to Vbox...

I have received a TBS 5520SE today.
This one don't work if I put only one plug USB!
With the 2 plugs, work very fine and fast,... I use it with USALS motor.
CrazyScan and EBSPro work without issue with MIS + PLS.
Blindscan work also with DVBDream3.4 + StreamReader1.2.15.
Some tests with DVBDream3.4 + StreamReader1.2.15.
I can receive DVBS2x transponders on 33°east.
Also the MIS (without PLS) on 12.5°west work fine.
But I can't receive MIS + PLS on e.g. transponders on 5°west with DVBDream!
