I bought the TechniSat TechniBox HD VA in July 2012 from TV Corner in France
cost with shipment Euro 156 + local taxes Euro 30
Smart card has expired already. It was a white card version TNT SAT 4
Because of my location, it is impossible to upgrade the firmware (software) OTA and most channels disappeared only after a short while.
I think the upgrade is done on TP 12,604H 22000
The receiver has PVR capability, but I never used it and don't know if it works. I read somewhere that it needs at least 80GB to work.
I have no use for the receiver now and this is why I would like to sell it.
You will have to upgrade the software (firmware) in order to be able to use it with a new card and it is possible that the new TNTSAT card version might not work with it, it is a chance that you would have to take, but in this case you can still use it as an HD receiver.
I still have the original box with all the accessories that came with it.
Factory default menus in French but I can set it to English if this helps.
