Anyone has seen this model and tried it? It looks like a hot deal. 2 high definition tuners, recording and can be patched. Sounds hot. Any ideas?

Shame there's no network card. PVR is with external hard drive so more clutter under the telly, dvb-t tuner is better than two sat tuners for me and hd freeview coming next year? If it were cheaper I might get one at say £200. I think Maplin still doing Fortec for £150 last time I looked.

But lets look at it differently. The wired network connection in other boxes may not be very practical and a wireless connection is going to be needed anyway so since this one takes a wireless PCMCIA network adapter then it is not a big disadvantage not to have it. Also, the external hard drive is easier to connect to a computer and gives more freedome in that regard, dont you think? Now how about the manifactureship? how about the pic quality? does it do a good job? This is the question. Lets not forget that the price is way less than a double hi def recording box that CAN be patched. The DM8000 is about double that price,,,,
