had a technomate 1500 and been very happy with it i just got me a ftecstar passion for hd....technomate works perfect...when i swap it for the passion tho....it wont pick up sats in usals with same lon/lat as technomate.. it seems to go past signal by about a inch...and when i manual tune satellite it will only pickup hotbird and the 2 astras..no sirius or absat........stumped any sugestions

Technomate 5402 HD M2 Ci, DM7000s, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Promax HD Ranger+ spectrum analyser.

Berkshire
Send it to the reference point/zero, then try finding the sats again.

tryed that mate..no go...dont know weather bloke how put it up put it on the p**s but like i said techno picksup every sat i can get with my location and dish size........

Hi,
Was the Technomate definitely using USALS, or was it using DiSEqC 1.2 directly?

Maybe its not aligned properly, and bloke used DiSEqC to manually adjust position, or alternatively maybe he edited the sat positions in 'Satellite Setup' to save him adjusting the dish properly.
