I got this from your first post

east (installer stated cant get past 26e)

Have you called him to see if he will be willing to do the retune for you, upload a newer channel list into the box, or at least confirm what satellites to the west he thinks you might get with the dish and LNB outside ?
my mistake it was 46e i couldnt get past
i am wanting to learn how to retune myself to be honest with you
i belive it gets messy if i upload a channel list as they are usually full of 'stuff 'you don't want in any order .. butt i am aware that they are really used as references & for feeds (often they are not that reliable on the listings sites either).
thou i do have a channel list stored on usb from installer
with its owerfull blind scan you really dont need them well so have been told
so ear i am i have factory reset the box,the box is picking up sattelites an dchannels stored in tecnomates memory
i have only doen a blind scan on 30w and 23.5e to see were i am in the arc
what the next steps i need to take?

If you're trying to manually add a transponder on this machine then this is what you need to do.

1) Firstly ensure the dish is pointing to the satellite in question.
2) Press menu, enter PIN then press OK on your handset.
3) Press OK on 'Installation', enter PIN.
4) Scroll down to 'Advance Search' then press OK.
5) Now Press 'Green' after which a screen appears where you can add the transponder details.
6) If you now get a 'reasonable' signal quality then press 'Red' to scan that transponder.

And that's it. As others have said, it's often best to have a play around with your stb as this is the best way not just to learn about it but also to remember how to do things.

Hope this helps.
