Technomate Problem

I have just received a Technomate 4200 D. The problem being in the receiver settings when on 16.9 view there is two 2" thick black lines down the left and right hand side of the picture. If I set it at 4.3 there is 2" thick lines right round the entire picture.

I though this was a problem with the TV widescreen settings so I went through every possible setting on the TV and it does not fix the problem.

Anyone any ideas??

I have been discussing this with Technomate already but there is no fix for this to date.
