In the menu there are these options.

Please see attached images.

Are they encoding ?

If I enable them will some of the channels which do not have a $ type sign that are live, but show no sound or vision, be enabled ?

Anything that does not have a $ sign is either not scrambled or isnt running at the current time. Its possible its just a dead label from a tp move, or its just off air.

If you put the latest patch onto it (via Entertainment - TM Online) you will get some of the scrambled channels opening - the Swiss HD channels on 13E, some of the BISS stuff around the arc plus a few more interesting ones which I'll leave you to find out ;)

This Options are back when the goldwafer, etc. make good work. AU stand for Auto Update. But do not work now.

You will need to look on some universal sites ;)
